Today, iOS/iPadOS 17.6 was released to the general public (please update your devices), and iOS/iPadOS 18 was also released for the public to test.
It’s not recommended that your regularly used device be used to test beta versions of software, as a bug could compromise its security. Remember, this isn’t the final version of the new operating system!
We test the beta versions of software to check our existing estate for compatibility issues and device bugs. This helps us prepare for the rollout of the new OS when it is available to the public.
To access the beta programme, you must register using an Apple ID. Go to: Apple Beta
Here, you can access the latest beta software for all Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
Once you sign up, the process to get the latest beta version is very simple, and you’ll be able to test some of the latest features. For example, those discussed here: https://eah-consultancy.com/whats-new-is-ios18-for-mobile-devices
If you want some help, getting your estate reading for iOS 18, drop us a message and let’s have a chat.
